Trump WREAKS US national security - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

President Trump is wreaking US National Security out of spite after losing to President Elect Biden in November.  This move will place Biden in a FIX, does he go along with the plan after he takes office or does he return the troops and have his LEFT of the Democratic Party go bonkers.  Also there are two months to go, Iran might be bombed by its neighbours or its neighbours might want the bomb, they can buy that on the nuclear black market, they have the money.  The new Biden Administration has to plan for everything, and they are behind the curve ball, the Trump Administration is blocking the President Elect from seeing secret briefs on US national security.  The next two months could be VERY tense.

Trump and Iran - Middle East/Persia

Lets Get Real:

This has been the nightmare of those that write on US National Security, the transition between Administration and the actions of the Oval and the reaction by others.  The idea that Trump even considered bombing IRAN is dangerous, its one thing to do with a Israel and other allies in the region, but to do it before HELM of state is given to someone else is crazy, one can expect a different policy from Biden, it can be postulated that Biden will appease Iran and try to get the Obama Agreement revoked by Trump back on line.  But the fact is if your Israel and other enemies of Iran might consider it better to bomb Tehran with Trump in the White House, thus in many respects taking the BALL AWAY from Biden.   The only saving grace with Trump is that he is such  DOVE, he was talked out of the idea of bombing Iran, but that might not be the case in Israel and the other Gulf States and Saudi Arabia.

Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party - Looking forward to 2024

Lets Get Real:

This is a major moment for Sir Keir Starmer, his actions could decide if he wins the general election of 2024.  The fact that Jeremy Corbyn was suspended from the Party was a good move in Starmer winning the 2024 election, this reverse by a sub committee shows that the Starmer leadership has not set the Party in his image, Starmer has a choice, accept Corbyn back and give him the Labour Whip or reject Corbyn by keeping him on the out.  One hopes Sir Keir shows a backbone and does not give Corbyn the Labour Whip, this would be a CLEAR MESSAGE, it might risk an internal Labour revolt, better that NOW, that the extreme left thinking they can do what they like and there are no ramifications from the leadership.  Sir Keir should think, what would Lady Thatcher do in such a case.

UK/EU Deal by Next Tuesday - UK Delegation- Brexit Update 2 - Transitional Phase

Lets Get Real:

Thus Thursday this week was seen as the deadline, as noted in previous post the EU is looking for ways around having the 27 Parliaments of the EU having to approve a DEAL.  The article states that a deal could be done by NEXT Tuesday. At some point someone has to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, these talks are two steps forward and one step back.  One can only hope that the PM keeps to Thursday as a deadline, then the EU will coming running in the NEW YEAR due to the economic ramifications of a NO DEAL BREXIT, these endless deadlines are making the talks a farce, and it is no longer funny.  UK fish are still OUR FISH, end of subject and discussion one hopes.

Brexit Talks Latest - Brexit Update 1 - Transitional Phase

Sky News: Reports " Brexit: EU lawyers look into plans to rush through a trade deal - but pessimism is growing...In one scenario, a deal would be given a new "classification", removing the need to have it ratified by every European parliament.  "

Lets Get Real:

The UK produces the Internal Market Bill and the EU goes mad, its shouts about overwriting a TREATY, but what happens when the EU want something, its all right by the liberal elites in Brussels and the REMAIN networks in the UK.  The EU is either about law or it is not, this blog deals in political realities, thus this another attempt by the EU to keep the UK in endless talks. ENOUGH is ENOUGH, in less the UK gets the agreement it wants, then the UK should walk away from the talks at the end of this week.  The PM has to be FIRM on this issue and not to change him mind on this subject.  A good and fair deal would be nice, but the UK can go it alone, then wait as the EU comes back running to London after the New Year.

Biden on Trump and the Transition - US Politics

BBC News: Reports " Joe Biden has warned "people may die" if his incoming presidential administration continues to be impeded by Donald Trump.  "

Lets Get Real:

One has to ask is the Trump Oval trying to torpedo the incoming Biden Administration, from the Trump's Oval view his Administration was attacked even before he become President and these attacks when on for four years and also he was impeached.  The COVID -  19 death total is in the hundred of thousands, thus the problem becomes a Biden problem from the 20th of January 2221.  It can be gamed out that Trump wants another run at Biden in 2024, and thus wants to cause him plenty of problems on his first day on the job.   That is just the domestic side, the Trump Oval is trying to bring ALL troops home from Afghanistan to Iraq, that will be great news to the enemies and terrorists around the World.  Someone close to the Trump Oval, needs to remind him, that if he wins in 2024 then he will be in the same position and Biden, thus better to have some kind of relationship NOW, and not face the same problems as Biden will face in 2021.

Deal or No Deal on Brexit Deal ? - Brexit Update 2 - Transitional Phase

Lets Get Real:

IF this is the final crunch week we shall see if the PM makes any concessions or he is keeping to his read lines over fish and a level playing field ( UK and EU regulations match up ) the PM has to keep the European Research Group happy ( they are firm Brexit supporters who will not be sold out ).  In Europe there has been talk that the latest sackings in No 10 would mean concessions from the PM, they might be miss reading recent events, the PM will need to be shown as being firm, that recent internal changes do not change the UK's position on Brexit.  Thus we shall see by next Thursday, of course the self - isolation of the PM might mean a few days here or there will have to go over the Thursday deadline, we shall see.  Thus another BREXIT crunch week!!
