US calls on the Venezuelan People to remove Maduro - Trump Era

IF the Trump White House is calling for the people to stand up to the Venezuelan Government it must be ready to support the people if the Maduro Regime uses the 20 thousand Cubans that have been sent by Cuba to support Maduro, also the Russians have sent men and military equipment.   The Trump White House can not look WEAK, the Obama Presidency lost its authority when it did not follow through when it stated that if the Assad Regime used WMD on its own people, that would be  RED LINE.   When Barack Obama did not follow through, the World knew that Obama was a WEAK LEADER when it counted.   It can be postulated that Obama allowed the Nobel Peace Prize win to go to his head, and made it sure that if a US President states that there is red line, then any US President has to follow through or be seen as WEAK.   President Trump does not want to be compared to a WEAK OBAMA.

One can argue that the Biden Campaign has had a good rollout, a good video intro, going after Trump and his racial views, and raking in 6.3 million.  The question is can such a poll number last that LONG, its May 2019, not May 2020.  The Iowa Caucus is in February as the article notes, what will develop from the Presidential Debates, there will be around 20 candidates, they ALL will be aiming to take down Biden, or at least show that there are other candidates in the race, and also to show that they are more liberal than Biden, and let's be honest here, younger with the exception of Senator Sanders, will a Biden Administration be a one term Presidency, if VP Biden wins he will be 78 when he takes power.   The VP spot might look good!! Let's recall President Reagan was the oldest President elected before Donald TRUMP came along, and he had a great Presidency, from the domestic to the international front.  Age is not the issue, it is the character of the candidate, and Biden is WEAK on national security.  There is a LONG WAY to go before Iowa, and as former UK PM stated, a WEEK IS A LONG TIME IN POLITICS.

It would not be a great surprise if North Korea tested another nuclear bomb or tried another ICBM test, sending a missile over US Guam.   The North Koreans have been playing Trump since he came in to the Oval Office.  They have gotten good PR for the Summit's between Trump and the North Korean Leader.   Of late Kim Jong Un has been to Russia, it can be postulated that he is playing the US vs. Russia and hoping to get better concessions out of the Trump Oval.  President Trump can not allow himself to be played again, he faces a tough election fight in 2020, he does not want Biden to state that he is WEAK on national security when Biden himself is a 100% WEAK on national security.  While VP to President Obama, he opposed the troops surge to Afghanistan, and according to Robert Gates he undercut the policy at every change he got.  Also he was opposed to going after OBL in Pakistan.  BIDEN IS WEAK ON NATIONAL SECURITY, the Trump Oval should play on that, it is an easy win if Trump can keep to the economy and national security as his talking points.

The above story was also covered by CNN, the US has to take FIRM action, the Russians and the Cuban with their financial interest and wanting to upset the US is making the CRISIS worse in Venezuela, there are reports that there are over twenty thousand Cubans in Country, their aim to keep the Maduro Government in power at all costs.  The US has to consider taking military action or even harsher economic sanctions on Venezuela and the Cubans.   The people of Venezuela have the right to freedom and democracy, the Maduro Regime has shown it is a tyranny, its sole concern is the small leadership in Government, one hopes the Army will smell the coffee and remove the Maduro Regime.   Otherwise the neighbours of Venezuela and the US might have to take some kind of preventive action, to defend the rights of the Venezuelan people.

Thus we have VP Biden calling for tax hikes, and NOW the House Dems want tax hikes and the removal of some of Trump's tax cuts.   Any meeting between POTUS and the Democrats is pointless, the Democrats just want to show to the Dem base that the leadership has moved LEFT.   If President Trump thinks he can deal with the Dems then he is WRONG.   The Democratic leadership wants to give political ammunation to the Democratic candidates seeking the Democratic nomination in 2020, one of the main demands of the base is tax hikes on the rich.   The rich never pay, they have good tax lawyers, it is always the MIDDLE CLASS who get shafted.  The Democrats are the WELFARE PARTY, the need people to be poor and angry, who else would vote for them otherwise.  This is a pointless meeting, POTUS should just walk out if the Dems start on about tax hikes. 

President Trump vs. Former VP Biden - Election 2020

I hate to say this, but President Trump could be RIGHT, Biden has to move to the  extreme LEFT to win the Democratic nomination, and by calling him out Trump could make the Democratic voters think that Trump sees Biden as a threat, thus vote for him.   The problem is that the Biden sorry tour is still going on, he is trying to clean up his mess over Anita Hill and he has promised to revoke the Trump tax cuts, thus tax hikes, it seems good old Joe has forgotten, well he is 76, that a former VP, Walter Mondale promised tax hikes at the 1984 Democratic Convention, President Reagan beat Walter Mondale by 49 States, 59% of the vote and 525 electoral college votes, thus tax hikes not a good idea to run on.   The more Senators Sanders and Warren move to the Dems to the LEFT, the more ordinary voters will see that the the Democratic nominee is the captive of the LEFT, thus Trump could have a landslide, a big landslide if the nominee is the Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders. Let's recall folks it still April 2019, a long road before Iowa.

Thus former VP Biden has fallen to pressure and stated he is sorry to Anita Hill, this might make extreme liberals happy, but will cause more moderate voters to think that Biden is a empty suite, who will be pushed around by whatever pressure group.   As stated yesterday Biden is WEAK on national security, the Trump Campaign will use this apology to show that Biden is a empty suite who will NOT STAND up for himself, at this rate Biden will have to say sorry for his whole political career, and it has been a very long political career, first in the US Senate and then Vice President under President Barack Obama.   The more the Democratic Party GOES LEFT, the more it will lose the FLY OVER STATES.  The Trump Campaign must be thanking its lucky stars that the Democrats is a gift that keeps giving.  In the latest news, Biden has stated he would get rid of the Republican tax cuts, that will help with the very liberal base of the Party but will cause concern that he is a TAX AND SPEND LIBERAL.   Do the Democrats EVER LEARN, recall Walter Mondale's pledge to increase taxes, he lost 49 STATES.
