Lets Get Real:

The Trump needs his base this year, this is the year that could decide if Trump gets impeached by Democrats if they take the House.   If Trump can keep the Senate he should be alright.   The evangelical base likes it when a sinner comes to God, it shows that even a President can make mistakes.   The question is what does he say about Stormy Daniels, the truth of whatever gets him out of trouble, he needs to make sure that should he be under oath when it comes to answering questions on Daniels that he is truthful, let's recall that Clinton was impeached for less.  POTUS needs his thinking cap on, this year could really test President Trump. 

US sanctions Russia - Update 2 - Trump Era

Daily Mail: Reports " Trump administration hits Putin's 'son-in-law' and his oligarch allies with sanctions for 'malign activity' around the world including election-meddling  "

Lets Get Real:

Putin's Russia muse be confused, on one hand Trump has not thrown Putin under bus when it would have made his life simpler, on the other hand there are more sanctions from, the US.  President Putin must think that Trump has a split personality complex.   The Russian Bear has had its claws out since Georgia in Bush 43 Presidency, he has move in to East Ukraine, is supporting Assad in Syria, and tried to make sure that Trump won the Presidency in 2016.  The Kremlin must be made to understand that the days of it getting away with things are OVER, the West is united in its opposition to the Russia Bear, its claws will be clipped and even more so if Putin is foolish to try his plans in the Baltic States or West Ukraine.   The LINE must be drawn in the sand, Moscow should be aware that it can only go so far. 

Skripal Update - New Cold War 2

Sky News: Reports " Nerve agent attack: Sergei Skripal no longer in a critical condition...In response to signs that the ex-Russian double agent is "improving rapidly", the Russian embassy in London tweets "good news" "

Lets Get Real:

This blog never agrees with the Russians, this time it will, it is good news that Sergei Skripal and his daughter are making a recovery.   The Russians really have made a mess, they tried to kill of one of their former agents and his daughter with a nerve agent, and it was so public in its manner.   The Russians must be afraid that Skripal will allow the authorities in the UK to find out how he was poisoned, thus they will to try to get to him through his daughter and her family back in Russia, the UK should not allow any Russians near the Skripal's, the father and daughter will need protection in the future as to prevent another attack.   The Russian Bear needs his claws clipped, to prevent another attack.  

US places new Sanctions on Russia - Trump Era

BBC News: Reports " The US has imposed sanctions on seven Russian oligarchs and 17 senior government officials, accusing them of "malign activity around the globe".  "

Lets Get Real:

Thus it will be interesting to see how Putin's Russia reacts, will they sanction US citizens and freeze assets.   The New Cold War 2 is getting colder, not there yet as to the old Cold War, no one thinks that these present problems are near to the worry of the Cold War, one does not see the US and Russia targeting each other with nuclear weapons over the present problems.   The attempted murder of a Russian/British Spy and his daughter by the Russians has lead to great tension, its hardly 1962 when the West faced a War with Russia or 1983 when the Russians thought that Reagan was planning a War with them.   The Russian Bear has broken the unwritten rules of the Cold War, they started with the use of nuclear materials to kill a Russian Citizen in 2006 and now its a nerve agent attack on a former Spy and his daughter.   The Russian Bear needs to go back to his cave and rest up, it's a danger to itself and the World. 

Foreign Secretary Johnson ATTACKS Corbyn - New Cold War 2

In contrast, Jeremy Corbyn chooses to side with the Russian spin machine.” "

Jeremy Corbyn is a extreme LEFT WINGER, he would rather trust the news statements from Russia over UK intelligence.  The left wing media elite should say that PR from Russia is rubbish, not give air time.    The Labour Party is already in trouble due the fact that it is seen as anti Jewish by some, it does not need to be seen as more loyal to the Moscow than the UK.   The Russians were behind the Salisbury, it fits their MO, who else has a nerve agent on hand, and how did it get in to the Country, that is how you find the finger prints of the Russians. 

Labour and the New Cold War 2 - Post Brexit

The Labour Party is lead by an extreme left winger, he more likely to support Russia before supporting the UK Government, this might go down well with the left in the media, such as the Guardian, BBC News, but with UK voters it does not benefit the Party.   The left wing media elite as represented by Guardian and BBC News give equal time to the Russians as to our own Government.  One does wonder if the BBC understands that it is the British Broadcasting Service, not an arm of the opposition, and by the Opposition that is the Russians.   The West is in a new Cold War, it has been in one since Putin took over the Crimea.   It is COLD OUT THERE!

President Trump and Syria - Update 2 - Trump Era

CNN - Politics: Reports " President Donald Trump has told his national security team that he is willing to keep US troops in Syria in the short-term, but made it known he wants US troops to exit soon in a meeting on Tuesday, a senior administration official told CNN.  "

Lets Get Real:

President Trump was highly critical of the Iraq War before becoming a candidate, he has said in the past that the US should taken the Iraqi oil as payment for the removal of the Iraqi Regime.   Thus Trump Oval does not want to be left with the ruins of Syria after Daesh and other groups are defeated.   Also he want to make sure that the US Military does not get in to a shooting war with the Assad and Russians, thus his view that the US should get out of Syria as soon as possible.   The Trump Oval does not want to lead, but if he takes tough action against Iran, this could lead to another War, the Middle East is full of snakes, any President should be wary of the region, no matter about oil production.
