Biden for 2016! - Give ME a Break!!

CNN - Politics: Reports that Vice - President Joe Biden is to visit Iowa State, the 1st caucus State in 2016. 

Lets Get Real: 

The very idea that Joe Biden could be the successor to Obama is a joke, this blog which is not American would win the Presidency over Biden, one can only assume the VP thinks that there might be a chance that Hillary Clinton will not run, well the tea leaves show a different picture, if Hillary wants the nomination she has got it, she has made sure the Oval will back her, Bill supported Obama through 2008/12 races, this is payback, and you do not double cross the Clintons.  Also lets do a counter factual, IF and its A BIG IF, Biden did win the nomination he would face a uphill struggle for the Presidency, one can assume that Obama's poll ratings will be low by 2016, Obama is no Reagan, and the last VP to replace this boss through election was Bush 41.  It is the silly season folks, this story comes under silly stories. 

New Homes in Jerusalem - Middle East Peace Talks

Guardian: Reports the following on the building of new houses in Jerusalem, " The move was reportedly co-ordinated with US officials as part of the pre-talks framework. ".

Lets Get Real: 

As the article notes folks the new houses are in exchange for the release of Palestinian terrorists in stages, very Northern Ireland, but the Middle East conflict between Israel and Palestinians makes the Troubles look easy to solve.   A real Palestinian State would be a threat to Israel, a real Palestinian State would control its borders, and its airspace, as the Middle East has proven for Centuries, things are never in stone, not even the Roman Empire, thus a deal next year, could fail within days or weeks, this attempt at getting a deal is a Kerry idea, the Oval has kept its distance, if a REAL chance the Oval will get closer to the action, but since most people think it will FAIL, then Oval will allow the process to work itself out, the OVAL already has a Nobel Peace Prize, thus no chance of a 2nd one, the Oval needs its political capital, it has three and half  years in Office. 

Obama's Poll problem - 2nd Term Blues

Gallup: Reports that President Obama has a 42% job approval rating, while 50% disapprove of the Oval's job performance. 

Lets Get Real:

This could push Republicans to close down the US Government after their recess as a way to finish off ObamaCare, there is a split within the Party over this move,  the Washington elite do not approve such an action, but on this the Republicans should go to the mat, Democrats need BIG GOVERNMENT, if the US does not fall apart then it will show that the Democrats argument for ObamaCare and BIG GOVERNMENT is hollow, if the Republicans go down this route they have to follow through, close it ALL DOWN, with the exception of Defence and Social Security, lets see how the Democrats can cope WITH NO GOVERNMENT, this is not the mid 1990s folks, Obama is no Bill Clinton, he is not that good a politician.   President Clinton won his fight with Republicans, he understood the voters, Obama understands himself and ego, that is a BIG DIFFERENCE FOLKS.  Lets WIN one for the Gipper. 

Egypt Latest - Egypt Crisis

BBC News: Reports that supporters of deposed President Morsi are getting ready to resist moves by the new Egyptian Government to remove protesters. 

Lets Get Real:

The Oval must have been informed of such moves, as President Obama has gone on holiday, a President playing Golf must mean that the US is happy that the new Government is taking action, if not would the Oval been caught having a good time at play.    The Muslim Brotherhood is a threat to secular Egypt and to Israel. Thus we shall see if the Army moves, better under cover of night, and keep the media out of the process, the news lives on pictures, no time for in depth discussion of the rights or wrongs of the actions, one gets the impression from the 24/7 news channels are more interested in raw footages of protesters getting their heads cracked, than a discussion as to why Moris was thrown out by a majority of Egyptians.   The Muslim Brotherhood was getting close to Iran, was breaking up Egyptian democracy, it was a threat to Egypt and the region.   Lets hope the new Government knows how to play the PR game. 

The Oval and Russia - 2nd Term Blues

The White House: Has the following statement from the White House Press Secretary on President Obama's visit to Russia for the G-20, " Following a careful review begun in July, we have reached the conclusion that there is not enough recent progress in our bilateral agenda with Russia to hold a U.S.-Russia Summit in early September.  We value the achievements made with Russia in the President’s first term, including the New START Treaty, and cooperation on Afghanistan, Iran, and North Korea.  However, given our lack of progress on issues such as missile defense and arms control, trade and commercial relations, global security issues, and human rights and civil society in the last twelve months, we have informed the Russian Government that we believe it would be more constructive to postpone the summit until we have more results from our shared agenda.  Russia’s disappointing decision to grant Edward Snowden temporary asylum was also a factor that we considered in assessing the current state of our bilateral relationship. Our cooperation on these issues remains a priority for the United States, so on Friday, August 9, Secretaries Hagel and Kerry will meet with their Russian counterparts in a 2+2 format in Washington to discuss how we can best make progress moving forward on the full range of issues in our bilateral relationship.

The President still looks forward to traveling to St. Petersburg on September 5-6 to attend the G-20 Summit. ".

Lets Get Real:

What is the point of going folks, this blog will bet that Putin will try to pull something that makes Obama regret going, he might get Edward Snowden to demonstrate outside the meeting, something that even the loyal Obama press will have to cover, or he will get Snowden to leak even more secrets, yes folks you get the idea, never play on someone's pitch if they can cause you political problems, this is the Obama ego getting in the way of reality, the White House should have called off the trip,. really show how the Oval is NOT HAPPY, also place sanctions on Russia, yes folks, the Russians will make Obama look petty and not a gracious guest, snubbing the Russian President will add popular support for Putin, yes folks its that bad a mistake.  Typical Obama, such a clever fool. 

Obama the HAWK and Russia - 2nd Term Blues

Fox News: Reports that President Obama has cancelled a meeting with President Putin of Russia at the G20 because Russia has granted political asylum to the US traitor Edward Snowden. 

Lets Get Real:

The Oval should not even go to Russia, think about this folks, Russia has granted asylum to one of the worse traitors in US history, lets get very real here, the secrets that Snowden took out of the US has been looked at by the Russians and China, it has been a field day for Russian and Chinese Intelligence, lets recall Putin is KGB, once KGB, always KGB, he enjoys poking his finger in to eye of the Oval, he knows Obama is weak, he knows he can be rolled, when you get in to the trenches Obama does not have that morale backbone, do you see JFK or Reagan going to Russia for such a meeting IF Snowden had happened under their watch, like hell, thus the Oval can not bear the thought that there could be  a G20 meeting without him in the picture, yes folks, ego, always ego with the Oval.   That is why Obama is so easy to read folks. 

The THREAT in Yemen - 2nd Term Blues

Telegraph: Reports the following from Yemen, " Yemeni authorities say they have foiled a major al-Qaeda attack, designed to bring the country's oil exports to a halt. ".

Lets Get Real:

Thus that has to be asked, with the US closing down its Embassies in the Middle East and Africa, and with the Government of Yemen thwarting a major terrorist threat, IS THE ALERT OVER ?  Folks the alert is NEVER over, IF this was the terrorist threat that was picked up by US intelligence the next terror threat is being planned, hell this threat could even have been a test run by Al Qaeda in Yemen to see the US reaction and to see its own security leaks.   On the other hand the Yemen threat could have been a diversion for a major terrorist threat in the Middle East, Africa or even Europe.  One can not discount a threat to the US homeland.  Thus folks lets hope the NSA has its ears up, checking ALL information, its doing its job, hat off to the NSA.
