6 Turkish F 16 Fighters to Syrian Border - Syrian Crisis

BBC News: Reports that the Turkish Government has sent 6 F16 fighters to the Turkish/Syrian border after Syrian helicopters came close to the Turkish border.

Lets Get Real:

One almost gets the impression folks that the Assad Regime wants to draw Turkey in to the War, this would place NATO and the US on side, while Syria would have the support of Russia and Iran. It can be postulated from the Syrian viewpoint that the Assad Regime has nothing to lose, at this rate the Regime will fall, it might not if the War goes regional, if the Syrian Regime can present the War in PR terms as Syria under threat from its neighbours. In other words folks do not be surprised to hear within the next few days that by accident but on purpose the Syrians have hit Turkey. There Syrian Regime has only two options WIN this civil war on be hanged from the nearest yard arm.

The EU, US and Iran - Iran Crisis

The White House - EU Sanctions and Iran: The Obama White House welcomes EU sanctions against Iran. Here is the full statement, " The United States welcomes the European Union’s prohibition of all Iranian crude oil imports and other sanctions on Iran's oil industry, which go into full effect today. This collective decision of the 27 countries of the European Union represents a substantial additional commitment on the part of our European allies and partners to seek a peaceful resolution that addresses the international community’s concerns about Iran’s nuclear program. The United States and the European Union are committed to holding Iran accountable for failing to meet its international obligations. With this decision, our partners in the EU have underscored the seriousness with which the international community views the challenge of Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

This action is an essential part of our concerted diplomatic efforts to present Iran with a clear choice between isolation or meeting its obligations. Iran has an opportunity to pursue substantive negotiations, beginning with expert level talks this week in Istanbul, and must take concrete steps toward a comprehensive resolution of the international community’s concerns with Iran’s nuclear activities. ".

Lets Get Real:

The Tehran Regime has made it plain its going nuclear, its not going to back down, the leaders in Tehran learned with the fate of Gaddafi of Libya, when he turned over his nuclear plans to the West he lost his ability to blackmail the West. The North Koreans blackmail the West every few years, they promise no more tests if they get food, once there is a deal they start up again, the West can not react as North Korea is a nuclear armed power, even China can not place that much pressure on her neighbour. The Tehran Regime is playing the clock, it wants to go nuclear before Israel can hit it, in the US the Oval wants no strike in till after the November election, in Israel they are waiting to see if the sanctions work or if Iran gets close to the bomb. It is all a matter of time folks.

Obama on ObamaCare - Obama Advert

Lets Get Real:

It is a very slick advert folks, pulls on the old heart strings, one problem its rubbish. It is the idea that you can get something for nothing in the health service, in the UK it costs billions and the price never goes down. What the advert does not say is that ObamaCare is NOW a TAX. The US Congress did not VOTE for that, the Oval knows it would have never have passed the Congress. If your simple trust the man in this advert, but as Hillary Clinton once stated, SHAME ON YOU.

Repeal ObamaCare - Romney Advert

Lets Get Real:

In this advert the Romney Campaign promises on day one it will repeal ObamaCare, it places the future of ObamaCare not at the US Supreme Court but with the voters. Do voters want higher medical costs, their taxes to go up, and for business to suffer, thus less workers. Thus the need to repeal ObamaCare. Good Advert folks.

Obama Lies - Romney Advert

Lets Get Real:

This is a hard hitting advert folks, it says that President Obama lies, it backs it up with news reports and then Candidate Hillary Clinton having a go at President Obama. It is time for the Romney Camp to fight back hard, its going to be a dirty race, might as well start early. The Oval will also fight dirty, that is the only way they know how to fight.

It was Gordon’s fault - Blair - Labour Feud

Daily Mail: Reports on remarks by former Labour PM Tony Blair that Labour lost 2010 election because his successor Gordon Brown did not follow the New Labour Agenda and Brown forced him out before his time.

Lets Get Real:

This Brown/Blair feud shows not end in sight, from the Brown view it can be argued that he waited years for they keys of No 10, but that Blair in the Brown view broke his word as to when he was going, while from the Blair Camp it can be argued that from 2001 onwards found the then Chancellor a major roadblock to reform. That any agreed deal was based on two points, that Blair would go at a set time if Brown would support and carry on the Blair Agenda, that did not happen thus the deal was void. The Junior Ministers Coup of 2006 forced Blair to set a date, he could have fought on but as he stated in his memoirs he wanted to protect the New Labour brand. One would have thought that the UK brand would have been more important, Party before Country etc, thus if Brown did not follow the New Labour Agenda and failed it would not damage New Labour. That logic failed, with the defeat of Brown the New Labour Project was dead in the water. On this Mr Blair failed to see the long term, Brown not only took down himself but the New Labour idea.

Tony Blair and the EU Presidency

Telegraph: Reports on remarks by former Labour PM Tony Blair, the former PM has stated that he wished he had been the 1st President of the EU, and that he had Campaigned for the post in 2009.

Lets Get Real:

The reason that Blair did not get the nod for the EU Presidency is down to the simple fact that there was no way in hell that then Labour PM Gordon Brown was going to have President Blair sucking up all the media. It can be argued with some justification that Brown did not spend years trying to get rid of Blair for him to be the 1st President of the EU. One can almost imagine Brown going totally bonkers at that thought, so it has to be asked what is the former PM up too, he has dropped hints that he wants to be back in the UK political theatre or in Europe. This is not going to happen folks, the Coalition Government is not going to give Blair that kind of power, he still Labour after all, also the Labour Party under Ed Miliband does not want Blair in the front line, the New Labour Era from the domestic to international field has left to many land mines for the Miliband Era. Thus Blair might think about becoming a TV historian, he would have the access, he is dam good on the TV, he could do a show with Bush 43, a epic diplomatic history of the US/UK relationship.
