Middle East Tensions - Update

Lets Get Real:

As stated the Oval Office and Downing Street will be looking for calm, the last thing that the Middle East needs right now is a war between Iran and Saudi Arabia, this it might need the US Secretary of State, John Kerry to visit both States and calm their nerves and get them to keep only shouting at each other, if Kerry can not do it, what about for former US Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, might well think of all the choices, with Syria in fire the World does not need another Crisis point.    The only winners are Daesh in Syria and Iraq should there be a regional war.

The Background to the Saudi Arabia and Iran tensions - Middle East

BBC News: Reports on the background of the tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, the article notes the following, " Iran and Saudi Arabia are on opposing sides of a more than 1,000-year old argument at the heart of Islam - between Sunnis and Shia.
Lets Get Real:
It does seem from a secular view dopey to have such an argument go on for one thousand years, but then if you look at the decline of religion in the West and the harmful aspects that has produced in different areas, single parent families, poverty, etc, some old fashioned religion might be good for Western values.   The power of Saudi Arabia and Iran to cause economic problems has gone down since the 1970s, the West has produced its own oil, the UK has the North Sea.  That is not say a major war between the two powers would not cause problems, the oil from the Gulf could be cut, thus more a problem for the EU than the UK.   One expects the US will try to calm the tensions in the area, after the nuclear deal the OVAL does not want a regional war.

Donald Trump takes to the airways - Election 2016

Lets Get Real:

Thus the Donald gets free media with the BBC running his advert, one has to say that Mr Trump does not miss a trick, he would have been aware that its contents would appal the left wing media, and the BBC is one of the main pillars of the left wing media in the West.   The Mr Trump doubles down his extreme right wing policies, the banning of muslims, getting Mexico to pay for a wall on the border. One can assume that the other candidates would have given their left arms to have the TV review that Trump gets, lets hope ANY other candidate can taken down the Donald, or will we have to start calling him Mr President, that is a nightmare for the ages.

The Never Ending Labour Civil War - Corbyn Mania

Lets Get Real:

The Labour Party Civil War will never end as long as Jeremy Corbyn is Labour Leader.   Those on the extreme left do not care about winning the 2020 election, they only seek political purity.   Those from the Blair wing of the LABOUR PARTY must be ready to ditch the Party and form a new centre ground Party.   It can be postulated that they would be the third force in British politics, keeping those with moderate and right views within the centre left political matrix.  Thus time for Blair supporters to grow a back bone and leave the crumbling Labour Party.

Daesh PR - Murder - War on Terror

Lets Get Real:

This is another terror low by the terrorist group Daesh, they use PR as terror, and target the young and those easily lead.   The military defeats in Iraq has shown that Daesh can be pushed back, they offer no hope, they just offer murder and terror.  It has been postulated that the War on Daesh will take three years, those years will be long, as the West does not get caught in to sending ground troops back in to Iraq and now Syria, the Western special forces have done a excellent job, lets allow the Iraq and Syrian people to fight for their homeland.   The day will come when Daesh is in the rubbish with the USSR and Nazi Germany.

Trump on Bill Clinton - Election 2016

Lets Get Real:

This is a clever move by Donald Trump, he wants to box in Bill Clinton, make him a loser on the Campaign trail if as expected he does more for Hillary in 2016.   It wins both ways, it boxes in Hillary when it comes to the women issues and other gender issues, and gets the Republican base who have no time for BC to support Trump.   The quality of the debate is another matter, its in the gutter at the moment, one would hope that Republican voters would switch their support from Trump to Rubion, but at the moment the 2nd man in the polls is Senator Cruz of Texas, hardly a center politician, the Senate members loath him, and that is just the Republicans.  One can only wish that Trump fades and anyone but Trump comes alone, with the exception of Cruz, otherwise its going to be a very dirty election in 2016.

Donald Trump on Hillary and Bill Clinton - Election 2016

Lets Get Real:

The Clinton Campaign has to go on the attack, it needs through its friends in the left wing media to go after the Trump history, everyone has something to hide, its just a matter of digging.   The Clintons have been down this road in the 1990s, at the end of the day Bill Clinton was impeached and found not guilty by the US Senate.   Whatever Bill Clinton might have done or not done is in the past, he is not running, its his wife, she has been First Lady of the US, a US Senator and finally the US Secretary of State.  The mistakes of Bill Clinton should not be thrown against his wife, the sole exception being if she uses women issues to be critical of Republicans, then she opens up herself to be attacked because of Bill.   This is the gutter politics we will get in 2016 should it be a Clinton vs. Trump fight.
