Obama NO to House Plan - 2nd Term Blues

".

Lets Get Real: 

The Republicans in the House want those elected to run the US Government to come under ObamaCare, not get of jail clauses, what an affront to democracy, those that have passed laws should have to live under them, it shows how out of control the Democrats are, they want special favours for the US political elite, while the Main street gets shafted AGAIN, just like when the Banks stole all the money in 2008.    This blog was opposed to Western Governments coming to the rescue of the banks, has any one gone to jail folks, like hell.   The Republicans should wait in till 16th of October, around Midnight of the 17th and pass their bill, if the Democrats want to default, so let it be, it will be THE Obama default, does have a ring to it folks.   A half way house would be the Senate Bill, opens the Government up and rises the debt ceiling, but all that does is get you through the holiday season, then back to close down and the debt ceiling, what this blog would give for another Reagan at this moment folks, those glory days of the 80s folks. 

Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that a UK Soldier was killed in combat today in Afghanistan, the Soldier was from the " 14th Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare) ".  Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 445 of its Armed Forces Personnel due to combat and other incidents.    

Lets Get Real: 

Folks WHY are we still losing brave members of our Armed Forces in a War we are getting OUT off, what is the point, by the end of the next year we should be out of Afghanistan AGAIN, we should cut our loses  and leave Afghanistan to the US and its future plans.    Our forces will do the job they have been sent out to do, but it can be argued that the Coalition Government should have a duty of CARE, we are walking off the pitch next year, it can be postulated that Afghanistan within six months will back in to a state of Civil War, the Afghanistan Taliban will use the leaving of Western troops as a PR for their course, when Kabul falls to the Taliban, is the US ready for another Southern Vietnam 1975,  who wants to see US helicopters getting the last US diplomats and allies out of Afghanistan.   At the end of the day folks, Afghanistan and Iraq was a disaster for the West, what have we gained, NOTHING, and the result, Western Armed forces are tired and Western voters wish they had never heard of Iraq or Afghanistan, our military and political leadership from the Generals to the Political elite have shown that they were donkeys leading lions. 

Obama vs. Republicans - 2nd Term Blues

Telegraph: Reports the following from Washington D.C, " Faced with a divided opposition, President Obama feels newly emboldened and is refusing to negotiate while the shutdown continues or the debt-ceiling is used as leverage. A House Republican proposal to extend the shutdown while delaying the debt-ceiling default is therefore DOA. ".

Lets Get Real:

Thus folks above we have the STARK truth, the Oval does not want to talk, it wants to destroy the Republicans and hand the House back to the Democrats after the 2014 Mid Terms, the Republicans have to face the reality that they either hang by themselves or UNITE, to take on the Oval.  The Republicans on the 17th of October should pass a debt ceiling raise of a month, only four weeks, the US Government should be kept SHUT, then it will be up to the Oval, it will decide if the US goes in to default, this is  hardball Chicago politics folks, its a political knife fight, there can only be ONE winner, the Republicans have to stay together, otherwise the Oval will feel free to push his Agenda through a broken Republican House.  This is time for the Republicans to think what the Gipper would do, he would WIN, he would not surrender to the Democrats.  The Republicans have one ACE folks, the Oval will be OUT in 2017, he needs more than ObamaCare, the Republicans should make clear, if he does not talk they will block his whole Agenda.   Time for hardball politics folks. 

Obama and a US Default - 2nd Term Blues

Guardian: Reports the following from Washington D.C., " Obama said he was against any stop-gap measures which would buy time but still leave the country under the shadow of a possible default... ".

Lets Get Real: 

Thus folks here we see the TRUTH, the Oval wants to break the Republican Party, he does not want to talk, he does not understand the meaning of the word, in less people are falling at his feet he does not understand them, thus the Republicans have only ONE choice, keep the US Government shutdown, and allow the Oval to default on its bonds.   Any other President, LBJ, Reagan, Clinton,  would understand if you are in talks you give and take, you never expect to get 100% of what you want, if you do you are in the wrong profession.  The art of politics is the DEAL, if you can not deal you are heading for disaster, if the US does default it will down to President Obama, as stated the Republicans have to hold their nerve, NOT GIVE AN INCH, then its down to the Oval, it will decide if the US defaults on its debts, does Obama = Hoover folks. 

The US Senate and the US Government Shutdown

BBC News: Reports that the US Government shutdown talks has moved from the Republican House to the Senate, which is controlled by the Democrats. 

Lets Get Real:

The Republicans in the House and Senate should hold their nerve, they Republicans should pass a short term debt ceiling raise, then let the choice of a US default be in the hands of Oval Office.   The markets should start go down should there be no DEAL by Thursday.   Thus its up to the Oval to make the news, e.g have real talks, not blackmail the Republicans, as stated the US will not actually default on the 17th, tax revenue is still coming in, thus bond holders will be paid, the US will only default if the Oval wants to default.   If this happens the House should impeach President Obama, the Democrats are playing politics folks, lets call their bluff. 

The US Shutdown - Latest

CNN - Politics: Reports the following, " An offer Friday by House Republicans to President Barack Obama would temporarily increase the debt ceiling without reopening the government right away, GOP sources told CNN's Deirdre Walsh. ".

Lets Get Real:

This sounds like a tougher deal folks, lets see how it plays out, the Obama word can not be trusted, he showed that after getting a Grand Deal with Speaker Boehner and coming back demanding more tax hikes.   The Republicans have to keep something behind their back in case the Oval does not really want to talk about the out of control welfare state of the US, after all Obama is a Chicago Pol, he should understand that you do not surrender in a political knife fight, you should always have that political cannon in the back, in this case its keeping the US Government closed.  If Obama rejects a short term debt ceiling rise the Republicans will get the fact that the Oval was just playing games, then the Republicans should allow the Oval to take the US over the financial cliff.  It is Chicago politics folks, the last Pol standing WINS. 

Long Weekend, US Shutdown - 2nd Term Blues

Lets Get Real:

It seems the Republican Establishment can not surrender FAST enough folks, they are taking the WORD of the Oval that there will be REAL talks if the Republicans open the US Government and rise the debt ceiling, two words folks, SELL OUT.   The Republican Leadership in the Senate and House do not have the backbone to make the Oval take the US over the financial cliff.   Speaker Boehner has shown himself to be a weak Speaker, the Oval should be always be frightened of the House Speaker, one can postulate that the Oval holds Boehner in contempt, a real leader would not allow himself to be pushed around by an appeaser like Obama, do you see Syria or Iran allowing themselves to be pushed around, when you in a leadership role you need steel backbone, one can say that the the Republican leadership has a wobble backbone that is thrown by the wind or the hot air out of the Oval.   Thus it seems that the Oval wins this folks, what is the point of voting for the Republicans, if they are Republicans in name only, might as hand over the House to the Democrats.   Shame on the Republican leadership.
