Thus German authorities have confirmed that the Berlin Tragedy was a terrorist attack, but beyond that the Police are not sure who the driver was and the man they captured has denied that he was the driver. If the terrorist was one of the refugees that Germany took in last year the consequences for domestic German politics could be severe, there are elections coming up, and any incident like this plays in to the hands of the extreme right.
