This blog can not remember a past POTUS who has given terrorists, and the Taliban are terrorists a VETO on US national security.  POTUS has shown that he is a empty suite, he promises ACTION, but that President never shows up.  Even NOW after the death of 13 US Servicemen he cannot admit he was wrong.  If he had listened to his Military he would have left the 2, 500 troops in Afghanistan, if  he had there would not be NOW 13 DEAD US Servicemen.  One hopes that the Republicans retake the House and Senate next year, then they can do a REAL investigation in to the Kabul evac and how much pressure did the White House place on the military to have such a low deployment, how many YES men/women are in the BIDEN WHITE HOUSE.  Of course that is NEXT YEAR, it depends how feckless the US VOTER is, by next year if the Biden 3.5 trillion package on the domestic front passes the US Congress, then Biden will run on his domestic record.  Of course next year is a long time, as today has show the terrorists have their own agenda, one hopes the CIA and NSA are doing their thing, and catches the terrorists before they ACT, leaving US security Joe Biden would be a mistake.

WHEN the WHITE HOUSE Press Secretary is covering for the Taliban it shows the White House is out of its depth, a President who looked and acted tired at his press conference, expected the press to be nice to him, held his folder as if live preserver.  If the Biden White House trusted the Taliban with a list of name of those that worked for the allies, it shows they do understand the situation and are more dangerous than Donald Trump.  Any other President, Harry S. Truman, JFK or Ronald Reagan would have done more, increased the presence of the US outside the KABUL AIRPORT, dare the Taliban to stop them.  Thus the US would have been in charge of those coming in to airport at the outer ring.  The fact the US Military trusted the Taliban is a concern, also the US military gave the Oval a get out of jail card by stating that they didn't need more military, of course they don't, this Biden evac was crazy from the start, also the recall the lessons of Vietnam.

Let Gets Real:

POTUS thinks that the TALIBAN will allow Americans to leave Afghanistan after the 31st, how out of it do you have to be, the TALIBAN read history, they would know that  they have to just keep a few hostages, let's say 52 to make the 24/7 news cycle every day.   The Taliban might have the same interest as Biden in the Americans and their allies getting out, but with the threat form ISIS-K they might have to show their true face, thus they will not care about financial pressure from the West, most of the foot terrorists can not even read.  Also there are different sections of the Taliban, those that have been having talks with the US might have gotten used to nice hotels and being in meeting with the West and the UN.  While the foot terrorists might want to take Afghanistan back to the stone age, thus a thousand US hostages might look good.  They will KNOW that Biden will never send in the military back in to Afghanistan, also Afghanistan is a big place to hide hostages, the Taliban might demand the unlocking of frozen Afghanistan assets a price to release some of the hostages, this could go on for years, just ask Jimmy Carter about Iran.  Also if Biden is to quote the bible, I will watch TV's West Wing, that President does it better and with more conviction.  Also Biden was very low energy, can he really handle a crisis.  At the least the UK will be out in a few days, our soldiers have to be on guard.  Our thoughts are with the families of those 12 US servicemen who were killed by the ISIS-K terrorist and those innocent Afghans killed or injured by the terrorist attack.

Lets Get Real:

If ISIS-K is a threat then the UK has to get our forces out and quick, we have done a great job with the US on getting tens of thousands of Afghans out, of course the question is, how many British and US Citizens are still in Afghanistan and how come the Allies have not got them out.  Also how many of our Afghan Allies have been stuck at the gates and can not get in, how many are outside of Kabul and are in hiding.  After the Allies leave the real face of the Taliban will show, it is Talban 2.0 or the real Taliban, a bunch of religious zealots who defame Islam. One hopes the press will keep an eye on the Afghanistan after the Taliban are in full control.  Thus its time to cut and run, it has started with POTUS, but the UK can not lose a soldier in combat due to the crazy plan of  President Biden.

The Taliban started to show their true colours with the whipping of the people and shooting over their heads, there are reports of them going door to door in search of those that helped the West.  Women have banned from work, and those well known women have either gone in to hiding or have managed to leave Afghanistan.  The blocking of Afghan elite leaving Afghanistan shows the true colours of the Taliban.  Once the West has LEFT, the shootings will really start, stoning of women, the ban on Western culture, TV allowed only under Taliban control.  This is a shameful day for Joe Biden and Boris Johnson, the West will have to be wary of a Biden promise, he does not care about the security of others.

The PM has shown he is feckless, he could not even SHAME Biden to extending his 31st August Deadline to leave Kabul.  It shows that Biden is a human version of Trump, they are both " American First " characters.  Also it shows that Biden it not fit to be President, he has had this view about Afghanistan for years, from his Senate days although his VP days under Obama.  Over time people listen, Biden refused to listen his National Security team when it came to Afghanistan, he thinks he is the best man to understand foreign policy, news to Biden Oval, your no FDR, or Richard Nixon.  One can assume that Tehran will push to allow it be become a nuclear power, China will try something WHEN it comes to Taiwan.  If the Baltic States are wise they will want to remind Biden that if one is attacked, ALL are attacked, that is Article 5 of the NATO charter.  Black clouds will appear and it is down to Biden.

This is the most humiliating day for  President Biden, there has not been such a day since  Saigon 1975.  It is interesting that NOW that Biden is listing to the Defence Department, they advised to keep a small presence of troops in Afghanistan but the President did not take their great advice, now his policy has been shown to be up there will Neville Chamberlain, he could have changed his mind and just sent in more troops, but with the advice from the Pentagon he got a get out clause.  The Presidential polls have taken a nose dive, they will be hard to get back, perhaps Joe Biden has decided not to run in 2024, of course he will show appeasement to Iran, then Israel will have to make a choice, either trust Joe Biden to defend them or take action, what would you do if you were under a direct threat, would you trust Joe?
