 BBC News: Reports in its 4.33pm post the following, " Trump threatens China with further tariffs....The additional tariffs on Beijing would be of 50%, Trump says."

Lets Get Real:

This could be the tariff that breaks Trump, China can wait out Trump, and they are communist, so no democracy to threaten them.   The threat by POTUS to add a further 50% is a mistake, China is a proud nation and face is important to them, also they have eyes on the Democratic Taiwan, they will not want the World to see that China can be bullied and humiliated over Tariffs.  POTUS should recall that COVID came form China, after either a leak from a lab or an intentional leak by China, the debate on that still goes on.  China can hit back if it wants, human life is not held high by the Communist Government of China.

 Sky News Reports that the FTSE 100 had its biggest fall in 5 years, due to the Trump Tariffs and World wide negative reaction.

MARKETS do not like these kind of taxes, it unerves them, thus the major sell off around the World.   POTUS is taking a risk, either he will be proven brilliant or a major fool.  The Republicans on the Hill are keeping their powder dry, Trump still has his base, that frightens Congressional Republicans.  Let's give it a few days, will the markets return, will the prices of groceries go up, and of course eggs.  Developing...

 BBC News Reports that Israel has taken more land in Gaza, to help with security against Hamas.

Lets Get Real:

While the World looks at the Trump Tariffs for the world, the WAR in Gaza blods on, more Palestinian civilians are killed by Israel and the Two State Solution withers on the vine.   Israel must eradicate Hamas from Gaza, the poor people of Gaza have suffered due to their support for Hamas in the early years, even they are seeing the light, time is short, Israel must win and do it a manner that is througher, innocent people are daying.

10% Baseline Tariffs on UK Imports to US- Trump47

 Sky News Reports that President Trump has imposed a 10% tariff on UK goods to the US.  The same tariff that the UK imposes on the US.

Lets Get Real:

On the whole, not bad for the UK, just the same tariff we charge the US on trade.  The diplomacy done by Sir Keir Starmer has worked, he might not be charismatic, but he sway over POTUS, that is important.   It will be interesting to see what the World says about the new tariff field by the US.

The Russians could be planning fir a new offensive in the Ukraine, whatever they sat in public, young Russians of conscription age should head for the Borders, also the Baltic States should be on ALERT, that goes for Poland too.  PUTIN lies as he breaths, he wants the former Soviet Union back, or a new Imperial Russia.  The Western World should be on ALERT.

It is about time Trump smelled the coffee and the Russia Bear close by, Russia is not a friend of the US and Europe, it is the enemy, it invaded the Ukraine in 2022 and still there, droning every night.  It is about time Trump placed sanctions on Putin, the Russian President thinks he has Trump as a pawn, and will agree with all his demands.  Is this a new day?   The Russian President has played ever US President since Bill Clinton, he is Mr KGB, he play's on every Presidential weakness, wanting to be seen as a peacemaker and great, Trump is the latest, we shall see what Moscow makes of the change.

 Guardian Reports that President Putin of Russia has suggested thar the Ukraine be placed under the UN, as to allow for elections in the Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

This is a way for Putin to replace Zelensky with someone more favourable to the Russians.   IT is a cheek, Putin is the dictator, and warmonger, he invaded the Ukraine in 2022 and is estimated to have lost a million killed.   The Trump Oval is fawning over Putin, the coalition of willing must defend the Ukraine, No matter the cost.
