CNN: Reports that Obama will state he would have left his Church if his pastor had not retired, Obama is learning you have to be ruthless in Presidential Politics. The row might not move much in the Democratic Party but they are very Liberal. Obama will have problems with this issue in the general election. Recent surveys show that Clinton voters would vote for McCain over Obama. Obama has to build up his support in the White community, otherwise he will lose the election.

If Obama would have left his Church then why did he appoint Pastor Wright onto his campaign!
Obama is meant to be above the politics of lies - but such a contradiction suggests Obama is now lying.
Obama is meant to be above the politics of pandering to the press - yet, how can he now, in the face of bad press, discredit his former spiritual leader (by saying that he would have left his Church of 20 years had the minister stayed). Just a few days he go he said he would not discredit the man. Now he says he would have left the Church because [i'll fill in] the man is morally sub-optimal [that is why we leave Churches]. I though P.Wright was the spiritual inspiration for his so called Christianity and even for the title of his book.
Obama would like us to listen to what he says and judge him on that. Why on earth would we do that? We must judge politicians based on actions (the fact that he stayed for 20 years). As opposed to listening to speeches we must examine actual relationships. Obama has attended a racist, anti-America, anti-Israel Church. He has been associated with the most heniuos anti-Israel personalities (Edward Said). Of course (!), these actions may not really reflect the true Obama - he may be who he SAYS he is. But why ON EARTH should we believe him. We don't need to (even if there is only a 10% chance that OBAMA too shares his Pastor's views - there are others who can lead America surely where we don't need to take the risk). You may so, oh, but he speaks so nicely and he is so handsome. Too many a time have nations come under the poor leadership of great orators, some not so handsome. And know, if this 10% is true, America is engaging in an unprecedented risk.
OBAMA spiritual inspiration in life is Pastor Wright. It is entirely appropriate - if we want to judge OBAMA in essence, at his root - to look to look to his reason de etra, Pastor Wright and the Christianity he taught Barack Hussein (why cant I use it?) OBAMA. God Bless America. And may He not let those that damn her lead her. And neither neither let those lead who learn and praise and are inspired from those that damn her. God Bless America.
