Rasmussen Tracking Poll - McCain v Obama

As the general election starts on Tuesday, I will be looking more at the tracking polls, its early and things can change in a second. The respected pollster Rasmussen has the following Tracking Poll Results:

McCain 46%

Obama 43%

The most important polls will come after the Party Conventions and the choice of the VP. But Obama has a lot of work to do with Reagan Democrats. He needs a VP that appeals to them and not Hillary Clinton. The VP choice this time around could be very important, but in the end its the head of the ticket that decides if you win or lose.
